“Take Out Time to do Nothing”

Does that really work anymore?

How often have we heard the statement “take out time to do nothing”? Pretty often? If not, I’d like to say it to you, take out time to do nothing.

Because it’s important. Although, what is the meaning of “nothing” in today’s world?

Watching a movie? Hanging out with friends? Going on a drive by yourself? Reading a book?

Do we realize that all of this- requires our brain to absorb new information? So, the nothing becomes something.

In today’s world, we can’t do nothing. We are constantly taking in information. In my belief, that’s what causes my brain fog from time to time. Sometimes, I try to make it a point to not do anything, not even check my IG feed, (which is a tough job for me) but I stumble upon some thought which makes me google my way down to hell. Feeling intellectually hungry is all fun and games until you end up forgetting the smallest of things in day-to-day life.

So, what do we do in honor of doing nothing?

Please share ideas in the comments below… if you have a hack at how to do nothing. I seriously need some help with this lol.
