Lady Dior & I
My undying fascination with the Lady Dior: Explained
The Lady Dior and I have come a long way.
From obsessing over Sonam Kapoor’s black Lady Dior in the movie Aisha,
to Leighton Meester’s seasonal editions of the same in Gossip Girl,
I was finally gifted one by my dad after receiving a Business Management degree.
My journey with the Lady Dior has been aspirational, emotional, and ecstatic.
My sole purpose to aspire to have one, was because it was made for a princess.
Princess Diana was the muse behind the Lady Dior handbag, it was originally coined as the Lady Diana handbag.
Let’s be honest here and admit to the fact that Princess Diana was a boss woman and the ultimate role model of every feminist who grew up in the 2000s.
The one I own is the Medium Lady Dior in Black Cannage Lambskin.
This one is timeless, classic, and gives a working woman edge with a chic and delicate aesthetic. The handbag whispers Dior elegantly with the help of the iconic Cannage stitching and gold charms.
The Lady Dior is as Dior as they can get!
My outfit here is in honor of Dior’s New Look from 1947. The silhouette I’ve picked is feminine and flattery, to resonate with Dior’s identity. These pictures are specifically clicked amidst greenery to do justice to Dior’s design philosophy, which happens to be.. nature.
